The company has been formed by a team of professional guides with many years of experience, they are from different rural communities of the Andes of Cusco, with a great feeling of the local culture. It is managed by Leo Cusi who has traveled hundreds of times for the inca trail and many other trails that end in Machupicchu with small groups, professional service and with a great heart and good relationship with the porters. For these reasons we are highly recommended by SOUTH American EXPLORERS CLUB, South American handbook-footprint 2004 to 2008 and others.

Wayki Trek has a great environmental and social responsibility through many local projects in different poor rural communities to permit them to get better their standard of living.

Also,as we are native, we work hardly to involve the rural communities inside the tourism activity in order to get them to be principal actors too.
